Grilled Garlic and Rosemary Pork Loin

Grilling a Pork loin can be tricky, but here is a simple recipe and method to make this as easy as 123.

Ingredients

1 – 8 to 10 lb Loin ( can be bigger if you want) I get mine usually at Gordons. They seem to have the best deals when it comes to price per lb. lately
1 to 2 tbsp Olive oil
8 cloves garlic – minced
6 to 8 stems of fresh Rosemary ( dont use the stems – Leaves only) – Rough chopped
1 tbsp Salt
1 Tbsp Pepper

Prep your meat by opening and washing the meat, pat dry and place on a cookie sheet
Fire up the grill to the highest setting (gas) or start your coals on the charcoal
mix the Olive oil, Garlic and Rosemary together or coat all sides of the meat. Make sure the coverage is good. if not sprinkle the meat with additional garlic or rosemary.
Mix the salt and pepper together and then sprinkle over all sides of the meat.

Once the grill is heated up, take the pork loin and sear all sides (approx 2 to 3 minutes per side) on the low grate. immediately transfer to the top grate, turn burners to low, place tinfoil or a cookie sheet under the loin ( used to catch the grease ) to prevent flare ups. Shut the lid and cook for 1 to 1.5 hours. CHECK THE TEMP at 1 hr, and cook accordingly for the last 30 (if needed).

remove fro grill, and let rest for 5 to 10 minutes cut and serve!
